Nancy brings the golden hour indoors

Golden hour is not just a time of day for Nancy; it is more or less her personality. Long golden blonde hair, bright blue eyes, a curvy 170 cm that looks as good in a linen shirt dress as in an evening gown: she has the sun-warmed, beachy glamour of a woman fresh off the sand. Expect gold jewellery, a tan that never quite fades, and a smile that makes hotel doormen stand up straighter.

Sunny, energetic and easygoing, she treats a cancelled train as the opening scene of an adventure. Swimming is her daily reset, outdoors whenever the water is bearable and in a long pool when it is not. Road trips are her great love, the more winding the route the better, with a playlist refined over years. And sushi is her one true food obsession; she will happily cross London for the right counter. In her early thirties, she speaks cheerful, easy English and has a knack for making everyone at the table feel included.

She loves sitting at the counter rather than a table, watching the knife work and swapping travel stories between courses.
