Privacy, told as the story of a single booking

No cookies, no analytics, no profile of your visit. Like every web server, ours has to see your IP address to send you the pages at all; beyond that, the only outside request, for our typefaces, is explained on the cookies page.

Either WhatsApp or Telegram will do. We see the number or handle you write from, plus anything you decide to share, which is normally a first name, when and for how long, and which companion caught your eye. The app carries the message under its own privacy policy.

For a hotel, Bella needs the guest name on the reservation plus the hotel and room; for a private home, the street address. Arranging the booking you asked for is our lawful basis for using these details, and keeping the evening safe for both of you is a legitimate interest. Identity documents are never requested.

Just enough to find you: the hotel or street, the room, the hour and what you would like to be called. Your number and your surname stay with Bella.

No client database, no mailing list, and nothing sold, rented or passed along. Booking chats are routinely cleared once the evening is over; you can wipe your copy whenever you wish, and one message asking us to clear ours early is enough. We never write first.

Under UK GDPR you may see what we hold on you, put it right, ask for it to be deleted or object to how it is used. Make any request through WhatsApp or Telegram; we keep so little that the reply is rarely long. If our reply falls short, you are entitled to take the matter to the Information Commissioner's Office.

No personal detail ever appears in a link or page address on this site, and the ready-made WhatsApp texts carry nothing more than brackets for you to complete, plus a companion's name when you start from her profile.
