Red hair, red lipstick, red wine: Luna has never been afraid of a theme. Her hair is a long, dark auburn that turns copper under restaurant lights, her eyes a warm brown, and she carries a curvy 171 cm with total ease, the bold, modern glamour of a woman who dresses for herself first. Picture a tailored scarlet trouser suit, or a black satin dress and a single cuff. She does not blend in and would be baffled if asked to.

Independent to her core, Luna makes her own plans, trusts her own instincts and holds a reassuringly firm opinion on most things, from the best seat in a theatre to the right temperature for a Burgundy. She photographs London on an old manual camera, mostly faces in crowds and neon at dusk, and she tastes wine with a curiosity that is infectious rather than snobbish. In her early twenties, she speaks English with a confident, slightly husky warmth, and turns out to be a generous, attentive listener once the bold first impression settles.

Mayfair is home, so her favourite evening stays close: dinner at China Tang, downstairs at The Dorchester, a gleaming Art Deco room of lacquer, mirrors and silk that could have been designed with her in mind. She will choose the Peking duck and a wine to stand up to it, then suggest a nightcap in the bar before the short walk, or even shorter lift, to wherever you are staying.
